GLASS CANDY - FEELING WITHOUT TOUCHING
March 25, 2010
FILED UNDER: full album listening, listen with spotify, music, music videoGlass Candy visited Helsinki and Tampere for nice gigs with Desire a few months back and I saw only the one in Tampere's Klubi. There were hardly hundred people, it was mostly playback since their equipment had been stuck in Sweden somewhere and the singer Ida No wore ultra-hot gold pants that gave forgiveness to everything else.
We met the people behind it after the gig and they turned out really nice as expected. It also came out that a good friend of mine that was there had lived most of his life in Minnesota like a block away from the merch dude that traveled with them.
I hear the gig in Redrum in Helsinki was packed but that's another story.
The duo's now got a new track called "Feeling Without Touching" and it's accompanied with a video that's made of simple but fitting kinda old school-y esthetics. It's actually fun that it's their first video ever though they've been around for a long time already.
They're coming up with a new album called "Body Work" and while waiting you can always listen to the 2007's nice "Beat Box" right below.
